The Tillandsia ixioides has long tapered leaves of a pale green color. The leaves are widely spread out, each blade pointing towards a different direction. But its inflorescence is what makes this species stand out. It grows a long spike that droops downwards, and blooms bright bumblebee yellow flowers with petals that are spread out, making the inflorescences look like cute little bells. This piece definitely follows a very bright summery color scheme, and could lighten up the ambiance of any home or garden.
